The Ohio River at the end of winter

The south bank of the Ohio River walking west from the boat ramp.  The drain on the left is half filled with leaves and branches.

I love the upright shape in the photo on the right, above.

Now how do you suppose this found its way here?  Fell  off a truck? Pushed off a boat?  Dragged/dumped there by a renovator who didn't want to pay the expense of getting rid of it?
