On finishing things

Every month or two I mention to my friend Mary Flowers that I never do anything. She giggles and tells me it isn't true. Recently, therefore, I've started a different kind of journal. All I write in it is what I've finished.

Over on my other happening blog, It's Only a Book, I noticed that I hadn't done much art for a couple of months. I looked back at the journal, though, and noticed that instead of doing mail art I've was doing fiber art. (You'd think I'd remember, but once something is complete it's as though it never existed.)

This piece is for darling Carson, my late sister's grandson, for his second birthday. Alphabets and cars and cowboys -- oh, my!
