Not the usual shots of Lonz Winery

The dome from the north side, with press house roof in foreground.

The overgrown front steps.

The murals painted on the porch ceiling look good, even after all this time. George Lonz was a savvy promoter. He sold grape juice during the Depression by telling purchasers the steps they must not take lest their juice turn into wine. This ceiling promotes the goodness of wine in a scene showing Jesus turning water into wine.
