Kentucky State Fair -- wall hangings (textiles)

A lovely and well thought out woodlands scene; the colors were better in person than they are showing on my screen.

Blue ribbon.

An amazing use of black and white and ever so many grays.  Astonishing.  The one to its left with the blue ribbon has a title referring to the Gulf oil disaster.

And now for a bit of frivolity. The bustle of each lady's dress is made from a vintage handkerchief.  Really fun to see.
