The thing about spring is that you can't delay taking photos, because what's bare ground today is a five-inch-high tulip tomorrow; and what's a glimpse of a lily poking though the dirt today is a platoon tomorrow.Also, if you delay you may not be able to find the purple crocus (if it was a crocus) with variegated leaves again.
I spotted the tulip three days ago. The rest? They were bare yesterday. Gotta love the way spring surprises.
