I bought the army fabric because my beau is former military. As of yesterday, 2700 American lives have been lost in Iraq.
Nice horsie. I took the photo and did all of the stitching by hand.
GoldenTree Communications will publish my new poetry collection, Semi-sweetness and Light, this fall. When owner Debra Landwehr Engle saw my fabric postcards, she decided I should make the cover for the book. My first effort was too busy for a book cover, but I like the "Still a great deal of light" variation.
