Grow. Breathe. Write. Call for Manuscripts.
Deb Engle, co-creator of Tending Your Inner Garden
My dear friends Deb Engle and Diane Glass, co-founders of Tending Your Inner Garden, are celebrating their tenth anniversary by publishing four books this year, each a collection of essays, poetry and stories by women.
Maximum length is 600 words.
Full details are on their website, but here's a portion of the announcement about the series: "We’re inviting you and every woman you know to submit a story, poem, essay or other creation for any or all of our Tending Your Inner Garden seasonal books. Each book will reflect the overall theme of Tending Your Inner Garden: Helping women listen to and trust their inner guidance as they connect with Spirit and the Earth.
This is the best way we know to honor the tenth anniversary of Tending Your Inner Garden. And it’s also the most lasting and impactful way we can think of to celebrate women, Spirit and nature. We’ve spelled out all the details below, and we encourage you to take part."
Be a part of this exciting venture. Read their guidelines. Write something authentic. Submit it by e-mail. Also, feel free to alert other women who might be interested; they want to include voices from as many parts of the world as possible.
When you click over to the Tending Your Inner Garden website, be sure to follow the link to read about their 2012 program. This year, for the first time a distance version of the course is being offered. If you want to explore the seasons of life and the cycles of change in a kind, supportive environment, this course would make a lovely gift to yourself in the new year. Sign up RIGHT NOW to be part of the January 10 presentation about the distance program.
